I wanted to like this place so badly! This is a review purely for people with similar tastes to be able to view we are not bashing just sharing our experience. Sadly, it was not good to us. We got a classic pepperoni & sausage and a Sicilian with sausage. Came with lots of meat on both and looked really appetizing. Then at first bites the classic felt like eating card board. The crust was not burnt but tasted that way and Iโ€™m just wondering if because they have so many people to serve that the over is too hot ? Or maybe thatโ€™s the way they intend it to be but it was not good. I will say really liked their pizza sauce tho itโ€™s vibrant and flavorful . And for the Sicilian it reminded me of Pizza Hut with how greasy the bottom of the crust was. And I found an hair in the crust of the Sicilian and I know itโ€™s not mine because I have thick long hair and this was about 6 inches and thin. Also the ranch was really watery and thin which is not my style. The owner was so nice and you can tell he really loves his team and community. Iโ€™m grateful for how fast Gus tried to help my family when I realized I had a way later pick up ( I did an online order not realizing it was a specified time b

If youโ€™re a New Yorker and homesick this is the best place to get your fix. The pizza is delicious. They sell slices just like in NY. Young + hip kids. Many coming in for take out. Friendly service. Love this place!

I'm not sure what the hype is, tbh. The crust was like soggy. The slices weren't the same size as an actual NY slice. Being from Brooklyn and such, I can say this ain't no NYC pizza. It reminded me a little too much like 2 Bros pizza. But then again, I only got the cheese slices. Not sure about the other ones. The people were nice.

Great atmosphere and great customer service. Has a family run feel to it, good old fashioned sodas in glass bottles. Now the pizza, fresh ingredients you can taste, pepperoni is crisp and fresh as well. Sauce is fresh but could use a little more salt and garlic bite for me. The deduction is for the undercarriage. Needs a more of an undercarriage in order to be considered a higher quality NY slice. Little to no crisp. Would love to come back and try again. Hoping they adjust these two things and would be very hard to beat. The atmosphere is so good reminds me of the old school neighborhood spot so I can see why people would come here regularly if you live local. Garlic knots are awesome, fresh butter and minced garlic blend is on point.

Ok so I was so hungry and everything looked so good, I forgot to take pictures before we dug in. Sue me! We occasionally do pizza crawls but today was my birthday so we decided on pizza because why not. We live in Central Orange county so this was a little bit of a drive, about 35 minutes. Well worth the time, I'd say. We ordered a whole pizza, half Speziata, half meatball. The Speziata was my favorite. The balance with the ricotta, pancetta and calabrian chili honey was spectacular! The meatball was delicious, 100%. But I would consider that a more regular type pizza with exceptional crust and sauce. Now, the loaded garlic knots!!!! OMG! I am so glad we don't live closer. I would be in some trouble. We also had the buffalo wings and would easily come back for those as well. My friend asked if I would make the drive again and I said I would. It's surely not a long drive but there are sooooo many places in Orange county to get pizza, it's hard to make that call. It absolutely makes my list of go to pizza places! And it's a short list.
